Today we met at the Natio nal Grid offices in Warwick to take part in the 'Raising of the Special Olympics Flag' There was tremendous support for the team and lots of photos and best wishes for our success in Shanghai.  After the ceremony and some refreshments we left in a rather luxurious minibus for the Park Inn at Heathrow. More photographs were taken and the paddlers met the other athletes who would be part of the whole GB team. After a session with the official photographer for a full team photo all the different squads had there photos taken. Dinner at the hotel was really good and everyone really enjoyed it. Tomorrow we have an early start with breakfast at 7.00 so it's early to bed tonight. |
