CANOEING AND KAYAKING
Our main sport is kayaking and canoeing which take place through the Spring, Summer and early Autumn months on the River Leam, at the Royal Leamington Spa Canoe Club by the Adelaide Road Bridge in Leamington. (The blue pin on the map)
We can cater for all abilities. We raft together open (canadian) canoes to make a very stable craft for up to six people.
We have double kayaks for people who want to paddle kayak but may not be confident to go on their own.
We have single kayaks that range from the very stable through to racing kayaks.
We have single and double racing kayaks for the more experienced members who are able to take part in the National Sprint Racing Regattas and also Special Olympics Sprint Racing Competition.
In the winter we go for a weekend residential trip when we stay on log cabins
Winter Activities
In addition to the Summer Programme we run various other activities. We also arrange family activities such as swimming, ten-pin bowling, skittles, and watching Ice Hockey.
